I think my brain is trickling out of my ears
Right, I’ve managed to get my blog up and running. Finally.
I had loads of fun last week with the camera, especially videoing the students performing their RAP projects, and I was really surprised at the effect a camera would have on them. Some of the particularly confident (and over-exhuberant) members of the class became wall flowers when the camera was pointed in their direction. And vice-versa.
Today however, I honestly feel like my brain is turning to mush. There’s so much I don’t know and it’s a really steep learning curve. (There are far too many acronyms!) I’m sure that with a few hours spent messing about (sorry, exploring) all the different programs the confidence will grow. I hope.
THe good thing is that I’ve got loads of ideas – I’m just not sure how to implement them at the moment.

Hello! I love your look! Very snazzy! Interesting thought … in RE the boys apparently have lower levels than the girls. I think using the video to record them doing things could help. Anyway, I really enjoyed today, have a great holiday, but I’ll see you on Wednesday!

I like the blog. I’m sorry that today was difficult or should I say demanding. I can really appreciate all that you say. The learning curve is steep but well worth the journey. One suggestion is that you narrow done the packages and focus on one or two of them and see what you can do. With your music background what not focus on Garage band and iMovie using both music and podcasting. I will try and send you a link to those podcasts I promised you. Enjoy your holiday and email me if theres anything I cna do to help!

Sorry I didn’t see you today at school … have you had the chance to try out anything with your students over the past three days?
